Appian Hands-on Developer – Mainframe to Appian Migration - Remote

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to support the migration of legacy applications from Mainframe systems to Appian BPM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Appian development, along with a good understanding of system integration and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Appian applications to replace existing Mainframe processes.

• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand migration requirements.

• Build Appian workflows, interfaces, and integrations with external systems.

• Optimize and troubleshoot Appian applications for performance and scalability.

• Support testing, deployment, and documentation of migrated solutions.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition from Mainframe to Appian.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Appian BPM development (process models, rules, interfaces, plugins).

• Knowledge of Mainframe applications and ability to understand legacy workflows.

• Experience with integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP, databases).

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
