Role: Snowflake Admin with AI exp.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Snowflake Admin with deep expertise in Snowflake platform management and hands‑on experience with Generative AI solutions. This role will focus on administering Snowflake environments, implementing Cortex AI capabilities, and ensuring secure, efficient, and cost‑effective data operations.

Key Responsibilities"

Cortex AI Implementation: Architect and deploy RAG pipelines using Cortex Search and Cortex Analyst to translate natural language into SQL.

Semantic Models: Develop and maintain YAML‑based semantic models mapping business language to database schemas.

Performance & Cost Optimization: Tune Cortex queries and manage credit consumption for LLM functions.

Platform Administration: Manage Snowflake components including warehouses, RBAC, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, and Data Sharing.

Governance & Security: Implement row‑level security, masking policies, and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Integration: Connect Cortex APIs with enterprise tools (Streamlit, Power BI, Slack, Teams) to build interactive AI applications.

Monitoring: Oversee platform health, inference performance, and cost efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of Snowflake administration or data engineering experience, including 1+ years with Generative AI.

Strong proficiency in SQL, SnowSQL, Python (Snowpark), and Snowflake Cortex AI functions (summarize, extract, translate).

Knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering.

Experience with data governance, security policies, and compliance frameworks.

Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.
