Role: PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Location: Chandler, AZ – Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL DBA to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise database environments. The role involves administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud‑based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases across development, test, and production environments.

• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching activities.

• Monitor database performance and implement tuning improvements.

• Ensure data integrity, security, backup, recovery, and high availability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support deployments and migrations.

• Document database configurations, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (RDS, EC2, storage, networking).

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.

• Solid understanding of backup, recovery, replication, and high availability.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
