Role: Red Hat Linux Administrator

Location: Chandler, AZ - Onsite

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Red Hat Linux Administrator to manage, monitor, and support enterprise‑level Linux environments. This role involves ensuring system availability, security compliance, and scalability while collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Red Hat / Oracle Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.

• Configure and manage high‑availability systems and virtual machines in storage environments.

• Build, operate, and support servers, storage, and peripherals.

• Perform server patching, updates, and security compliance checks.

• Configure and manage volume groups, logical volumes, and distributed file systems.

• Administer essential network services (DNS, NFS, LDAP/Kerberos, NTP, mail services, OpenSSH).

• Troubleshoot and perform server break/fix functions, recommending corrective actions.

• Document operational processes and implement automated installation/configuration procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of IT experience with expert‑level Linux administration.

• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, RPC).

• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python).

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible).

• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (hardware, network, storage).

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

• Excellent collaboration skills in a global team environment.
