Role: Azure Infrastructure Architect
Location: Remote
Role Summary:
We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Architect to assess current Azure environments, design enterprise‑scale Landing Zone (ALZ) architectures, and enable secure, compliant, and scalable adoption of Azure services. This role partners with application, operations, and governance teams to deliver infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC), observability, subscription vending, and technical documentation to support enterprise workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Architecture & Engineering: Design subscriptions, management groups, RBAC, and resource organization.
Landing Zone Design: Implement enterprise‑scale ALZ patterns with platform hardening and guardrails.
Infrastructure as Code: Deliver reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines for automation.
Framework Alignment: Apply Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well‑Architected Framework.
Monitoring & Observability: Build monitoring, alerting, and dashboards; integrate with enterprise tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
Subscription Vending: Automate provisioning and self‑service enablement aligned to governance policies.
Discovery & Assessment: Inventory tenants, subscriptions, services, and dependencies for migration readiness.
Documentation: Produce target‑state diagrams, design docs, compliance evidence, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8–12 years of experience in Azure infrastructure architecture and platform engineering.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise Azure Landing Zones with guardrails and controls.
Strong hands‑on IaC delivery (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
Experience with monitoring/alerting baselines and integration with observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace).
Knowledge of subscription vending/provisioning processes aligned to enterprise governance.
Strong documentation discipline and security/compliance alignment.
Azure certification: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions preferred.
