Role: Terraform Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA – Onsite

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Terraform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions across AWS multi‑account environments. This role will focus on automation, DevOps pipelines, and supporting large‑scale data center migration programs to AWS, ensuring secure, compliant, and repeatable infrastructure delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain Terraform modules for AWS multi‑account provisioning.

Implement CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure consistently across accounts.

Support automation for networking, IAM, and shared services.

Collaborate with cloud architects to translate designs into Terraform code.

Provide compliant infrastructure patterns for application and database teams.

Assist with Oracle Exadata connectivity and application migrations.

Ensure Terraform state management, versioning, and environment isolation best practices.

Troubleshoot cross‑account deployment issues during migration waves.

Deliver documentation, runbooks, and handover to operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in Terraform and AWS infrastructure automation.

Strong knowledge of AWS Organizations, IAM roles, VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, Route 53, storage services.

Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with enterprise application stacks (Java, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, TIBCO ESB).

Experience administering Windows Server (2016–2025) and Linux (RHEL 7–9).

Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Terraform code, pipelines, and AWS infrastructure.

Prior experience in data center exit/migration programs highly preferred.

Excellent communication skills for collaboration with architects, security, and project teams.
