Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced GoLang Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications and microservices using Golang.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in REST APIs, microservices architecture, cloud-native development, distributed systems, containerization, and database technologies. The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and microservices using Go (Golang).
Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services.
Design and implement microservices-based architectures for enterprise applications.
Build cloud-native applications that are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data storage and access solutions.
Troubleshoot complex application, performance, and production issues.
Implement appropriate security and performance best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Perform code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated application deployments.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, architecture, and engineering practices.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on proficiency in Go/Golang.
8–10 years of software development experience with strong backend development expertise.
Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
Hands-on experience developing REST APIs.
Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong experience with MongoDB is highly preferred.
Experience with Git and source control practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Experience with cloud-native application development.
Knowledge of application security best practices.
Experience with application performance optimization.
Experience with Terraform, Helm, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
Experience working with OpenShift Container Platform.
