Job Title: Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant

Location: Hartford, CT / Indianapolis, IN / Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC / Richardson, TX

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Technical and Functional modules, Payroll configuration, Fast Formulas, HCM Data Loader (HDL), Visual Builder Studio, and OTBI. The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, and supporting implementation, integration, testing, and production deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle HCM Payroll implementation and enhancement projects.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.

• Configure Oracle Cloud Payroll to meet business and compliance requirements.

• Develop and maintain Fast Formulas for Payroll and HCM processes.

• Design and implement data migration using HCM Data Loader (HDL).

• Develop reports and dashboards using OTBI.

• Build and customize applications using Visual Builder Studio where required.

• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support integration, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Payroll-related production issues.

• Participate in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

• Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, and user guides.

• Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience.

• Hands-on experience with multiple Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.

• Strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll.

• Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Technical development.

• Strong knowledge of:

o Fast Formulas

o Visual Builder Studio (VBS)

o HCM Data Loader (HDL)

o OTBI Reporting

• Experience with Payroll configuration and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data model.

• Experience in integrations and data migration.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing and configuring Oracle Global Human Resources (Core HR).

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Security.

• Experience with Compensation, Recruiting, and Talent Management modules.

• Experience in:

o Business Process Re-engineering

o Requirement Gathering & Analysis

o Application Configuration

o Production Deployment Support

• Knowledge of BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Oracle HCM Cloud Certification is preferred.
