Role: Senior Network Engineer 15+

Location: Alameda, CA (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Alameda, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, and enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should be capable of designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and securing complex network environments.

Required Skills

15+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technologies.

Extensive experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting).

Experience with enterprise firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, IPS, and network security.

Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and routing/switching.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCIE

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.

Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and wireless devices.

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls.

Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.

Troubleshoot complex network and security issues.

Implement security best practices and firewall policies.

Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on network projects.

Maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures.
